!!! Long Rambling ahead. Be warned !!!

This mod is nothing impressive, nothing extremely audacious or daring. It's just a little project I did for fun for myself, but decided to share it in the end since all of the resources were free to use and someone could like them.

The idea came to me when I tried to make a Snow Elf character, (Which I have learned the hard way is waaaay more difficult to pull off than it seems)

I think it's kind of funny, actually, because since Snow Elves exist in the lore but we don't know how they looked like, we have total creative liberty; but I've come to realise that is my downfall! I'm not sure about any choices I make.

As such, I just searched for Ice or Frost Elves on the Nexus for inspiration or bases. The races available on the nexus were all nice, but not what I was looking for in any way, sadly. I liked the Lore Friendliness of PSage99's Falmer Race, but as always happens with OCO type of characters, they look too bug-eyed sometimes. Which is nice, I like my elves alien and all, but I aim for a more ethereal kind of elves, rather than them being just weird. (Am I making sense?)

I really didn't want to create a whole ass race for a single character I may not play all that much in the end, so I chose Xenius' Falmer Race and added blushing and made a new faceup and I'm pretty happy with the result. I'm still debating about which face model to use, one good thing about the Moonshadow type of head meshes is that they're really versatile and their textures are compatible with a lot of different head models, but I'm not fully convinced by any!

Still, I think I managed. They look cute enough. I'm not so sure about the eyes, sadly. I have discovered I don't really like them. I wanted them to feel cohesive to the other elves but they just look weird. 

 In the end I just changed them with some eyes without pupils. They're blind, after all; and it adds to the coldness and ethereal essence I'm looking for. It could also be explained that since they live on the snow and all, their eyes have adapted and now have a protective membrane above the pupils so the sun isn't harmful to them or something, yada yada yada.

Overall, I think I did well enough, they're cute. Perhaps not so lore friendly, or a bit too out of place among the other elves in my game at least, but tbh lore on the Elder Scrolls has always mattered so little lol. 

Anyways, enough ramblings! I'm sorry if you really read all that. You deserve a medal.

KS Hairdos Wigs

Important! Be sure to read the credits and permissions at the bottom. These are some wigs I ported from the Skyrim mod KSHairdos to Oblivion for my character Yanfei. I Ported them just for fun, but they suit her general aesthetic really well and go amazingly with some of her outfits. As of now I only ported three of them because of the ancient chinese aesthetics. These three ported hairstyles are the ones called Daphne, Wu Mei Niang and Wu Zetian. (Fun fact, these two last names were actually the names of some empresses of China) They come in five colours: Brown, Blonde, Black, White and Red, and you're free to edit and make your own haircolours. The flowers and accessories colours are also interchangeable at your will, so a simple edit in nifskope or photoshop might do the trick nicely. Dunmeri Hanboks

  Hanboks ( 한복, in korean) are the traditional garments of (you guessed it) Korea. They're caracterised by bright colours, along with simple lines and no pockets. A fun fact is that hanbok in korean means literally clothing, but today is almost exclusively used to refer to the Joseon Dynasty dress. While playing Morrowind lately I loved the fantasy vibe of the world, the alien feeling and the well-constructed culture of the dunmer. It is true that the Elder Scrolls races don't have a real world exact counterpart, but i've always liked the concept of dunmers having a bit of an east asian vibe, which I feel most palpable in Mournhold specifically for it's architecture.
